Key Accountabilities:

• Conduct a logistics field assessment and develop the logistics strategy and implementation plan for the logistics teams
• Ensure the Logistics plan and strategy is implemented and monitored within the project
• Visit all project sites to ensure that systems are in place and functioning
• Support country office initiatives around international logistics systems
• Develop and maintain a procurement plan and ensure local, national and international procurement practices are compliant
• Develop the logistical aspects of the program emergency preparedness plan.

Qualifications, Relevant Work Experience and Skills
• University degree/ masters qualification in Logistics and Procurement
• At least 8 years progressively responsible experience in Logistics and procurement
• Experience of working with an international NGO
