Job Purpose
• Work alongside the country offices team in supporting the construction activities through ensuring the continuation of the project activities through adequate supervision of program site
Key accountabilities:
• Supervise and manage constructions, supervision and monitoring of works on sites to ensure quality works and proper management of resources, providing continuous feedback to the Head of Office
• Build strong relationships with the country offices and with other organization working in the same field
• Supervision of building construction and refurbishment, and water and sanitation projects on site, analysis of costing estimates, monitoring of works and assessment of quality work
• Ensure overall program quality, effectiveness and timeline. Ensuring that proper materials are requested in timely manner and they arrive to work
• Ensuring that all construction works set objectives and deadline are met
• Helping to create building plans and bills of quantities for the projects, timely and quality implementation of plans
Qualification
• Bachelor’s of Sciences in civil Engineering
• Communication skills
• 5+ years experience
• Working knowledge in written and spoken French
