Job Purpose
Delivery of Customer Engineering Servces across the organization

Interrelationships
Works closely with Regional Managers Operations, Chief Operations Officer
Works closely with Network Losses Planning and Design Manager with respect to system investments and technical loss reduction
Works Closely with Maintenance Manager in design and delivery of planned maintenance programmes

Principal Accountabilities
Managing the Customer Services Engineering territory assigned including the Human, Material, Financial and Systems resources available in a planned fashion
Managing all resources with Safety as a priority
Reflecting customer service, system improvement and technical loss reduction priorities, in submissions to Maintenance, networks Losses Planning and Design
Contributing to the design delivery of planned maintenance programmes
Managing directly Planned and Unplanned outages in accordance with protocols
Specific responsibility for “one stop” service to key Accounts in area of control
Contributing to Departmental strategies and plans
Education, Experience and Skills
Degree in Electrical Engineering 5 (five) years experience in industry
Communications Skills both verbal and written
Good report writing skills
Key Competences
Capacity to see big picture while keeping sight of priorities
Capacity to plan, contribute to plans and to deliver systematically avoiding crises
Ability to interact with Customers and people at all levels with composure and conviction

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting in the coordination and supervision of the implementation of the two project’s activities with relevant government officials, IOM staff and consultants.
Assisting in drawing up comprehensive implementation plans for project activities.
Assisting in managing, directing, mentoring and supervising IOM staff and national consultants associated with both projects.
Participating in workshops, training sessions and roundtables with government officials and other partners.
Assisting in the development of methodology for the creation of several reports related to labour market and labour migration as well as the collection of relevant data.
Editing reports to meet the highest possible technical and editorial standards.
Assisting in preparing interim and final donor reports.
Assisting in representing IOM on labour migration and labour market information issues.
Assisting the Project Development unit to develop new projects related to labour migration and migration and development.
Any other duty within the incumbent’s capabilities as may be assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should hold a Master’s degree in migration studies, economics, international relations, or related fields.
Excellent  English writing skills and an appreciation for the economy of words.
Strong academic and/or writing experience in one or more of the following areas: international migration, labour migration, labour markets, labour economics, regional economic integration, international relations with a focus on East Africa integration.
Demonstrable ability to take initiative and work independently while also working with and learning from others. All prospective candidates must have a strong work ethic and proven ability to meet strict deadlines.
Commitment to quality and high attention to detail.
Self-confidence and ability to speak in public.
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Work experience on migration and/ or labour issues a distinct advantage.

World Vision Jobs - Reporting and Documentation Specialist in Uganda

Job Title: Reporting and Documentation Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop/ rollout and manage AIM Health Project M&E database aligned to the Results Bases M&E Framework.
Provide technical support to national office and field program staff and partners on integration of the strategy standard indicators into ongoing or new programs/projects and during program development, research and needs assessments
Develop/adapt and coordinate administration of monitoring tools to track project performance based on the results based monitoring and evaluation framework

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should hold a Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences, Social Works and Social Administration, Development Studies or related development disciplines Or Statistics, Quantitative economics and related disciplines. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
At least 5 years relevant experience with international organizations in research, monitoring and evaluation of, and reporting on complex (development) programs.
Knowledge of and experience with a range of M&E tools and techniques, including ability to develop strategic plans and comprehensive effective systems for data collection, analysis and dissemination.
Excellent command of MS Excel, and working knowledge of at least two statistical data management packages/softwares (quantitative & qualitative) e.g. SPSS, Nvivo/Nudist, Epi Info, STATA
Ability to work with inter-disciplinary teams and a wide range of program/project activities.
Strong writing and communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

The job holder assists travelers making travel arrangements to include making recommendations, consistent with all travel regulations and post guidance, about travel routes, lodging options, per diem allowances, mixed transport options, etc.
Advises USG direct hire staff about their travel related entitlements and ensures that their travel authorizations conform to the regulations.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, management or finance is required.
The applicant should possess six years working experience. Specifically: five years of progressively responsible administrative management experience in public health field or a health-related international development organization; and an additional one year of experience at the managerial level that includes direct supervision of staff.
Language required:  Level IV (fluency – speaking/reading/writing in English) is required.
Good knowledge of Agency and applicable inter agency management operations, to include financial management, human resources, procurement and contracting (including grants, contracts and/or cooperative agreement audit and accounting requirements), travel, IT, and other administrative procedures, regulations, and requirements is required.
Broad knowledge and understanding of leadership and management strategies and models is also required.
The ability to assess problems and develop realistic solutions (how to plan for and administer available resources of funds, personnel and equipment in the best interest of PEPFAR program objectives) is required.
Excellent inter-personal skills in order to coordinate with USG and implementing/cooperating partners to ensure mutual cooperation are required.
Ability to plan budget expenditures to meet PEPFAR-program needs is required.
Ability to coordinate and negotiate effectively with host government, ICASS providers and inter-agency partners is required. Intermediate user level of word processing, spreadsheets and databases is required.
A facility to work with higher mathematical calculations for purposed of reporting is required.
