Job Title: Research coordinator

Requirement:
• Postgraduate degree, preferably Ph.D, in economics, agricultural economics, development economics, sociology, anthropology, rural development, or any other related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in conducting social science or economic field research. Experience in Africa is strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience supervising data collection, teams of field workers, and survey design and implementation.
• Cultural sensitivity and demonstrated ability to work successfully with diverse constituencies.
• Experience in conducting field research in developing countries.
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
• Experience with presenting research findings at public forums, including to nonresearch focused audiences.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and complete fluency in English
• Excellent analytical and demonstrated ability to write reports and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Ability to combine quantitative and participatory research methods.
