Muhavura Extraction Limited (MEL) is a private company focused on growing, and processing pyrethrum. MEL is a subsidiary of MGK, a global leader for Pyrethrum.

MEL’s headquarters is located at its modern pyrethrum processing/extraction plant in Kabale, Uganda.

Over the next few years MEL plans to expand its Pyrethrum production to take full advantage of this modern processing facility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from a recognized University, a Masters in Business Administration will be an advantage;
• At least 5 years experience in a senior management position in an agricultural or manufacturing establishment;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including English;
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to interact professionally with diverse staff, contacts including local government officials, farmers representatives, farmers, suppliers both locally and internationally.
