Job Description:

Busitema University is recruiting qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of Principal Internal Auditor


Roles:
• To  assist  the Chief  Internal  Auditor in coordinating the audit  effort  and  resources  towards  provision of assurance  and  consulting  services  designed  to add  value  and
• Improve the university risk management, control and government processes.

Qualifications and Experiences:
• A  master’s  Degree  in accounting and   Finance ,  Business Administration (Accounting  option ) or the  equivalent  with full Professional qualification in Accountancy  obtained from an awarding  institution  recognized by  ICPAU  and working  experience  of at least  6 years  of which 4 should be  in a position  of comparable  responsibility   in a  reputable  organization.
• Membership of  ICPAU  and computer knowledge  of standard  desktop applications is requirements
• Knowledge of computerized  accounting package , possession  of  CIA  and membership to the Institute  of  Internal  Auditors  -Uganda  and  IIA  will be  added  advantages.
